While I was cooking supper, I noticed that Jarrett had gone into the laundry room. When I went is, this is what I found!! All of our kids have done a lot of crazy things but this takes the cake!!!!

For the Love of Miley
Well, last night as some of you know on Disney Channel was the BIG Hannah Montana Meet Miley Cyrus 3 D concert. Even though it was Saturday night, and we hardly ever do anything on Saturday night, we watched the concert. Since it was 3D you know what that means, 3 D glasses. We went to Walmart obtained the goods and waited for what seemed like weeks. Last night we were finally able to get our glasses on and watch. I personally didn't think it held up to the hype, but the little fans in our house thought it was great! Check out the photos from the occasion!

God Stop Friday & My Hannie Girl
Even though today is Saturday, I am still going to do my God Stop

hosted by Patty.Yesterday was my middle girl Hannah Beth's birthday! 
She is such a joy. She is also the one when I got pregnant with her we were in the middle of selling our house and beginning the seminary journey. Every time I look at her, I remember God's faithfulness and how much we have to trust Him. He knows things we don't know. If we had listened to our heads, we might very well not be where we are today. In our humanness, we were CRAZY to leave a steady job and head into the unknown with 2 children, 1 on the way and no job, insurance, or anything! But because we were obedient, God has been faithful! Because of this baby named Hannah Beth, we are right where God wants us to be. So I guess my God Stop is that He is faithful and if we just trust Him and live in His will everything will work out. Just trust Him today and Believe Him to do BIG things!

After the Storm
We had a horrible storm yesterday afternoon. There was quite a bit of damage on our end of town. If it wasn't a tornado, it was close. We lost power for 4.5 hours, so I had to throw out most everything in my fridge. I needed to clean out the fridge anyway.
Thank the Lord no one was hurt that I know of. Needless to say, it was a scary afternoon. My husband says it best here and Palmetto Rev says it best here. Thank you God for the provision and favor You showed to my family yesterday. Praise God form whom all blessings flow!

Something You HAVE to Watch
For Bible school we have this Great family come in and do all the worship leading and teaching and in the back we just do crafts and snack! They do a wonderful job. They have a ministry call Just Say Jesus. They really involve their entire family in the ministry. They have 2 boys(4th and 7th grade) who are just awesome! Their boys made these videos that they used with our VBS this year. Here is one. I hope you enjoy.

God Stop Friday
My Siesta Patty hosts 
This week God has showed me a lot about being thankful for where I am in my life. In the NOG's study, We talked about Leah and Rachel. All Leah wanted for Jacob's love. She thought that if he just loved her liked he loved her sister, then her life would have been complete. Not so! We need to be happy right where God has us. Jacob must have like Leah a little bit because they had children together. If she had just thanked God for the opportunity to be Jacob's wife, her attitude would have been different.
How many times do we in our life wish if I could just have______, (whatever that thing is that we want right now) then my life would be complete. If we are not content and thankful where our life is right now, how do we think we will be thankful and content when we have_______.
God, may I be thankful for the place You have me right now, and for the things I have right now. Because You and You alone know what I need and what my so much more should be. You guys have a great weekend!
