Glory....

This weekend has been such a whirlwind.  Friday night as I was baking Noah's birthday cake, when we got a call that saddened our family.  The lady that kept Jarrett last year when I was teaching and mother to my really good friend had an asthma attack we thought and had lost consciousness and wasn't breathing.  We call her Glory(Jarrett couldn't say her name Gloria.)
Things went from bad to worse on Noah's birthday Sat.  Jamie was gone in the morning to the hospital, because she had very little brain activity.  We decided to have Noah's party but cut it short.  Gloria's granddaughter who is 14 had spent the night with us and wanted to go to the hospital.  We got home very late on Sat. night.
This is such a shock to everyone.  Yesterday we canceled the pm service and the am service was as Jamie said, "The saddest most satisfying service I have ever been to."  We went back to the hospital right after church and stayed until 9pm.  They moved her out of ICU into a private room so the family could be there 24hours a day.
This has just about torn up our church not to mention my husband and our family.  Tommy and Gloria are like family to us.  Please pray for the Landis family, Tommy(dad) Rhonda (the oldest and mom to Kenny 20 and Mattie 14) Pam(the youngest and mom to 2 year old Tucker.), and Glory(Gloria) we are praying for a miracle but trusting God because He knows what is best.
Thanks in advance.  I will keep you posted.
